Hi there!
I'm Leo Madson, a dedicated Artist and Youth Advocate who values discovery and experimental processes. I like to inhabit the neutral perspective of a storyteller or puppeteer who deals with imaginative, adventurous stories set in intimate real-world spaces. My work inspires self-discovery and a connection to the natural world within my community.
As you navigate about, you'll discover I swim in many ponds across the working watershed. Whether it be within the theater, the Great Lakes, or my at-home workshop, I pour everything into my projects. While you're here, collect all of my lesser-known skills listed on the scavenger hunt below!
I live intentionally in The GreenHouse (Milwaukee, WI) alongside my siblings and mother. As a cultivated homeschooler, I occasionally stop following my life path to play the figurative trail-setter. That is, I determine where I'm going next, and it is not to a shuttered university. Coming into adulthood, I'm taking steps toward careers in Sailing, Theatrical Arts, and Ecology.
I am luckily free to explore every industry, dream, and medium that comes close to my hands. This website hosts images, stories, and collections of what I love to do best. If you can help me do more of those things, then by all means, please let me know.
